A mass shooting at the juvenile party left 2 dead, 4 injured in Tacoma

A shooting at a party at home in Tacoma, Washington, left two dead and four injured, the authorities announced.
Shortly after midnight on Saturday, the deputies were sent to the big party and saw 30 to 40 minors run and howl from the house, according to the Sheriff department of the County of Pierce.
“Several appellants reported that a fight broke out in the street,” said the Sheriff department in a press release. “Just before the arrival of the deputies, shots were fired and people and vehicles were fleeing the premises. The vehicles were stuck in the neighborhood while chaos embodied the whole street.”

The deputies located a male victim in the street and attempted rescue measures, but the male was declared dead, the authorities said.
Five other victims were transported by others in local hospitals, where one died of his injuries. The other victims remain hospitalized but should recover, according to the Sheriff department.
The age of the victims varies from 16 to 21, the authorities said.
The authorities say that the nearby houses and vehicles were damaged during the shooting. Investigators remain on the scene on Saturday morning.
“This is another dark reminder on how the parties can be dangerous when things go out,” said the Sheriff department.
