Agencies are looking for advice on the latest Musk OPM emails, some urging employees not to answer
Several federal agencies seemed to be taken over by the emails led by Elon Musk from the staff management office on Saturday who asked employees to detail their weekly achievements.
The management of several agencies began to inform its staff that they expect new advice and, in some cases, telling them not to answer, according to several sources.
These agencies include the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Internal Revenue Service, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Ministry of Energy.

The Pentagon also asked civilian employees to wait for legal advice before responding.
Some law enforcement organizations – including the FBI – have also asked employees to “take a break” of responses to the OPM email.
In an e-mail to all the NOAA employees obtained by ABC News, the counter-admiral Chad Cary said that the message “was a surprise for all the departments, and the management of the NOAA was looking for advice”.
Cary also recommended that he did not submit anything before Monday in the event that additional directives are provided.
Sources told ABC News that FEMA employees had also been invited not to answer.
At the IRS, the acting commissioner informed the staff that civil servants await Treasury advice there concerning the email – but have not specifically advised personnel on the response or not.

Some CDC employees have told ABC News that their teams are still waiting for advice from the agency management on how to proceed. An employee said that their manager advised to wait until Monday – in the hope of receiving more details on the process.
Employees of the Ministry of Energy also received an email from their direct management telling them that they are still waiting for more details.
