Blue Origin mission with fully female crew, including Katy Perry, ends a space trip

Blue Origin’s entirely feminine crew, which includes Pop Star Katy Perry, ended its trip to space on Monday morning.

It marks the first entirely female space flight since 1963, according to the company.

The window of the latest launch of Rocket New Shepard opened its doors on Monday morning around 8:30 am CDT, according to Blue Origin.

“I dreamed of going into space for 15 years and tomorrow this dream becomes a reality,” said Perry on social networks on Sunday.

The 11th equipped with New Shepard Flight, which is officially called NS-31, took off from the launch site of the ONE company in western Texas.

The flight lasted about 11 minutes and traveled more than 60 miles above the earth, according to Blue origin, passing the Kármán line, which is 62 miles above sea level is considered to be the border between the earth’s atmosphere and space.

The spatial flight of all the most recent was the solo space flight of the Soviet cosmonaut of Valentina Tereshkova in 1963, said Blue Origin.
