Diddy Trial Day 18 Summary: The 2nd victim of Combs concludes a “humiliating” counter-examination

A former assistant from Sean “Diddy” Combs concluded three days on the witness stand, with lawyers for the musical magnate toast so intensely that a prosecutor asked the judge to arrest the counter-interrogation, the appellant “humiliating” and “harass”.
The witness, testifying under the pseudonym “MIA”, told jurors last week that Combs had tormented and sexually assaulted it during his stay as a personal assistant.
Defense lawyers have attempted to assault her credibility in her last two days, appearing on the stand, pressing it on dozens of text messages and publications on social networks that she wrote about Combs which were fun, respectful and even adorable.

Combs lawyers argued that Mia had distorted the way Combres treated it and made part of its history. Mia was largely supported by her testimony, telling the jurors that she was “brain washed” by Combs and explained that she now wanted to speak honestly about the years of harassment and abuse that she endured.
“This is the worst thing I have never had to talk about in my life,” Mia told the jury about her reluctance to talk about how Combs has sexually assaulted her.
MIA’s testimony marked the start of the fourth week of testimony in the sex trafficking and Combs racket conspiracy trial. Prosecutors accuse that Combs used its richness and influence to manage a criminal business which was used to protect its reputation and forcing women in sex.
If he is found guilty of all the counts, the music magnate could spend the rest of his life behind bars. Combs pleaded not guilty and his lawyers argue that, although he could have been violent towards romantic partners and abused of illicit drugs, he did not commit the crimes alleged by the Ministry of Justice.
Defense lawyers highlight Mia’s loving messages to the comb
Continuing her counter-examination last week, the defense lawyer, Brian Steel, returned to the publications and SMS of the social networks of Mia to challenge the woman and the version of the events she shared with the jury.
“Life is F —— crazy and all this happens for a reason to raise us in our human experience, but it is tough,” wrote Mia Combs in 2020, more than three years after having stopped working for him. “I love you with all my heart and I’m here for you forever.”
Steel also showed the jury other text messages from the 2019-2022 deadline in which MIA expressed love and admiration for combs.
“Hey. I saw our doc on the top 10 of Netflix. Congratulations, I miss you,” read a text from July 2022.

Combs replied: “Love, Love, Love, Love.” Mia wrote: “And I like, love, I love you.”
“Everything is positive and loving to you to Mr. Combs, would you agree with that?” Access requested.
“Yes, of course,” replied Mia. She quickly explained to the jury that she was still “washed by the brain” by combs of her years working for him.
Once the MIA’s long and controversial counter-perspective concluded, the federal prosecutors tried to minimize any damage that could have been caused to its credibility.
“Have you posted on social networks as part of your work?” Prosecutor Madison Smyser asked a redirected examination.
“Yes,” replied Mia, adding that the publication on Ciroc, Diddy Door, The Bad Boy Reunion and Combs himself was part of his work. She described her Instagram messages “like the strong” coil “of Combs and does not intend to messages on the disadvantage of working for him.

“Is that why you have not posted that Mr. Combs slams Cassie’s head in a bed frame?” Asked Smyser. “Yes,” replied Mia.
“Is that why you have not posted on Mr. Combs throwing a computer on your head?” Asked Smyser. “Yes,” replied Mia.
“Is that why you did not posted on Mr. Combs who assaulted you sexually?” Asked Smyser. “Yes,” replied Mia.
Steel tries to cast a doubt on Mia asking why she did not docume the abuse
Throughout her burning cross-examination, defense lawyer Steel tried to unravel holes in Mia’s testimony, emphasizing how she did not docume the abuses she said that she was suffering from combs, even if she documented the advantage.
“Do you have a recording of Mr. Combs you reprimand you?” Asked Steel, who pointed out that part of Mia’s work was to transport a small camera to document the life of Combs. “No, I would not have been allowed to record this,” said Mia.
“Because that’s not true, isn’t it, Mia?” Accused actor. “Your statements that you were the victim in the hands of Mr. Combs de Brutality is not true?”
Mia retaliated, testifying: “Everything I said in this courtroom is true.”

Steel also questioned MIA’s account of exhaust combs with Ventura in the Turks and Caïcos in paddleboarding at sea. Steel asked if there were sms, emails or photographs documenting these allegations.
“Was it just invented by you?” Asked in steel. “No,” said Mia.
The next question of steel – “How is it that all these events have no photography, SMS or messaging on your part?” – was arrested by the judge after an objection.
At one point, the prosecutors asked the judge supervising the case to intervene, arguing the “humiliating” boundaries counter-examination on harassment and could dissuade other victims of crimes from presenting themselves in other cases.
“Eyes are on this trial. The victims in other cases will see how the victims are treated,” Comey said in a clear wink to the world titles created by the Combs trial. “Our concern is that if this victim is not protected against additional harassment, it will dissuade other victims in other cases.”
Judge Arun Subramanian said he couldn’t hear any cry and had not seen any inappropriate treatment, but he warned the steel as to the form of his questions.
Steel suggests that Mia made her story after the Ventura trial
Steel suggested that Mia has timed her disclosure of sexual assault presumed by Combs with the filing of a civil prosecution by singer Cassie Ventura, the former longtime girlfriend of Combs. Ventura is the star witness of the accusation, and she allegedly alleged that Combs had mistreated her for a decade. His trial, the starting point for the federal survey which led to the current pursuit, was settled after a day for $ 20 million, said Ventura. There was no admission of reprehensible acts.
Steel asked why Mia had not spoken to federal prosecutors of his assertion that Combs had sexually assaulted her before June 2024, six months after starting to meet the authorities and seven months after the Civil Trial of Ventura. The defense stressed to the jury that Mia met the federal prosecutors a total of 28 times.
“Do you remember the first time you have made an assertion, Mr. Combross has always sexually assaulted on June 18, 2024?” Access requested.
“I don’t remember the dates, but I remember this horrible conversation,” said Mia.

During the redirection examination, Smyser asked MIA to clarify why she so often met federal prosecutors. “I have met the government so much to understand my story and because I was so terrified and I learned at the same time,” she testified and, using the previous street name of Combs, said that she was “terrified by Puff”. She said that she had never been able to talk about her statement that Combs had sexually assaulted her without looking down.
“It’s the worst thing I have ever talked about in my life,” she said.
The last witness informs the jury of damage to the Hotel House in Combs
The prosecutors concluded the day by calling Susan Oken, director of the Beverly Hills hotel, to testify to the time when Combs was a guest of his establishment.
She said that Combs has registered at the Beverly Hills hotel under alias like “Frank Black” or “Phillip Pines” and Cassie Ventura was listed under the profile of Combs as a guest.
Oken testified that Combs had once started an additional $ 300 load to clean the curtains and additional costs of $ 500 to clean “oil damage”. Oken said the accusation reflected something “beyond the scope of what we normally clean”. The questioning of the accusation was a reminder of previous testimonies on the so-called “freak-off” orgies that Combres would host and, according to the testimony, included gallons of baby oil.
The court is expected to resume on Tuesday with Eddie Garcia, an employee of the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City, California, the scene of the attack captured by Combs against Ventura which may have created the most sustainable images to come from the high-level criminal trial.
