Elon Musk and the Government Ministry of Effectiveness have published their second batch of data listing the federal contracts they have terminated as part of their erasable cost reduction measures – saying that it saved a total of $ 65 billion in federal funds.
But contracts – and 144 million dollars in rental endings – are the only items for which the website provides figures, which makes it impossible to check exactly what and how much, DOGE has reduced in total.
DOGE, on the website, notes that they work to provide real -time data, but that there is currently a lag in data due to the federal supply of supply data.
Contracts represent together $ 9.6 billion in savings – only a fraction of the total of $ 65 billion that DOGE claims to have saved what it calls a “combination of detection / fraud, contractual / lease cancellations, contract / rental reductions, changes in programs and regulatory savings.”
The new data, displayed of the night, showed a total of 2,299 federal contracts in 47 federal services and agencies that Doge claims to have terminated, which is about double the number of more than 1,100 licensed contracts that they had posted last week.

There is no public disclosure that shows all of the Doge costs reduction measures.
The newly published data from DOGE also abandoned some of the other main contracts he claimed to have ended his data from last week, including three $ 655 million discounts to the American agency for international development, which CBS News reported were counted wrongly three times.
Similar to last week’s data, DOGE now lists nearly 800 contracts where contractual obligations have already been fully delivered – which means that 34% of the contracts they have affirmed to termination will not really save money.
A White House official told ABC News that Doge works with agencies to calculate economies and had linked directly to specific units within agencies and with contractual agents responsible for individual contracts.
The official also said that they used a conservative methodology for calculating savings because they subtracted the obligatory dollars of contracts from the ceiling amounts. However, for many contracts, the ceiling dollars are much higher than what should really be spent.
“DOGE identifies waste that most Americans did not know existing. This is a good thing. In addition, many of these contracts were also in automatic renewal – DOGE prevents waste taxes on these scams in the future,” said an official of the White House in ABC News.

The site also provides only rudimentary information on certain contracts that DOGE has terminated.
One of them is a staff management contract which claims to have saved $ 318 million in end, but it is difficult to trace what the contract was used for because Doge did not include receipt for the contract as he did with most of the other contracts he claims to have terminated.
Based on the description of Doge, the contract seems to have been at a stage of the “pre-conscious” proposal request, to provide “products and services related to human resources to their current and future recruitment and brand customers”.
Another end of termination contract is a contract of the National Institute of Health to the Software Company Advanced Automation Technologies from which DOGE claims to have saved $ 149 million, but the DOGE website is linked to another NIH contract for the rental and maintenance of refrigerated gas tanks, which was capped at only $ 118,832.
The NIH contract with Advanced Automation Technologies, with the same contract ID, is capped at only 1.4 million dollars, which is far from the figure of $ 149 million that DOGE was praised on its website, according to the Federal supply data.

The data of the federal contract show that no money has been forced to this contract since last summer, when it was signed.
Musk, who said that Doge will be “maximum transparent”, promised at the meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday to correct the errors.
“We will make mistakes. We will not be perfect. But when we make mistakes, we will repair it very quickly,” said Musk, citing an example of the way Dog has restored an Ebola prevention program within USAID.
Musk also praised the members of Trump’s office, calling them the “best firm of all time”.
Trump in Reunion also praised the work of Musk and Doge, echoing what they cut “theft and fraud” and saying that there is “a lot of fraud and probably fraud that we will not be able to prove, it is fraud”.
