A citation of parton has also been included. He said: “Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words cannot do justice to the love that we have shared for more than 60 years.”

“Thank you for your prayers and your sympathy,” she added.

Parton’s note ended with: “The family asked for privacy during this difficult period.”

Parton and Dean had kept their private marriage over the years.

The duo made the knot in 1966. In their time together, Dean generally remained safe from the spotlight despite the long career of parton in the music industry.

However, Parton has always talked about the love she has for him. She also said that Dean’s appreciation for rock ‘N’ Roll had played a factor in making her album “Rockstar”.

“Most of these songs that I chose because of Carl, and because I knew they were good songs, because he knows good music”, she said “GMA” in 2023. “He does it.”

In 2022, Parton shared the key ingredients of his and lasting dean’s sustainable marriage.

“I like when people say:” How did it last for so long? “I say,” is to stay, “said Parton.” You know, there is a lot to say about it. So we are not in the face of the other all the time. He is not in the company, so we have different interests, but yet we have the things we like to do together. “

“So, it was supposed to be, I think. He was the one I had to have and vice versa,” she added.

She also said that a sense of humor also helped.

“We both have a distorted sense of humor,” she said. “And I think humor, honestly, is one of the best things when you are married like that. Even if you have a problem, if you have a great sense of humor, if you say something that you cannot resume [you] usually have a crazy way to get out of it. “”

“GMA” contacted the Parton representative for an additional comment.
