A fan was hospitalized Wednesday evening after falling from the stands of the right field on the field during the seventh round of the Pirates-Cubs match at PNC Park.
According to a declaration by Pittsburgh Pirates, the adult male was immediately treated by Pittsburgh EMS, as well as sports coaches of the PNC teams and staff. He was then transported to the General Hospital of Allegheny.
No update on the state of the fan was published.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family,” the team said in a statement.
The incident briefly interrupted the game while the emergency teams responded.
