Harvard, UCLA, Stanford among schools in the United States by reporting the revocations of students’ visas

Student visas for five people currently or recently graduated from Harvard University have been dismissed, according to Harvard.

It is one of the more than a dozen higher education establishments that follow and actively report the number of affiliated people who have been targeted by the administration of President Donald Trump in recent weeks.

These incidents are part of what seems to be the mass targeting of international students by the Trump administration for alleged violations of their visa or their green card conditions, ranging from minor legal offenses to participation in demonstrations. In other cases, the reason for the revocation is unknown or has not been provided by the administration.

Since the start of Trump’s second term, the State Department has revoked more than 300 student visas nationwide, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on March 27.

Based on non-exhaustive accounts provided by the respective EIAs, here are some of the colleges and universities that have been affected.
