However, Johnson said on Wednesday afternoon that he thought the Republicans would meet and vote in favor of the resolution.
“I think it will pass today,” said Johnson.
“The president is willing to help, and he said to me this morning. But I think we are doing this job,” he said, noting that he was sympathetic to the concerns of warnings to the extent approved by the Senate.
“We have a very important mission, and it is to deliver the only big and beautiful bill that will resume this economy and solve these other problems,” he concluded.
