While the markets were preparing for another collapse triggered by the radical prices of President Donald Trump, the Democrats hammered the president for having spent the weekend in golf rather than responding to the fears of the Americans that their retirement accounts did not fall with the markets.
Trump left Washington, DC, for Florida on Thursday to attend a golf tournament dinner Liv before a tournament in his Doral club in Florida. On Saturday and Sunday, he played in a club championship in his national Golf Club Trump in Jupiter.
On Thursday, the first day of negotiation after Trump announced the prices, the industrial average of Dow Jones dropped by almost 4%, while the Nasdaq, heavy of technology, decreased by almost 6%. Friday, the descending spiral continued with the falling dow of 2,230 points, or 5.5%, while the S& P 500 dived by 6%.

Dow Futures opened its doors Sunday evening down 1,500 points, or 4% percent, while S& P 500 and Nasdaq 100 The term contracts also fell 4%.
Democrats have criticized Trump’s apparent lack of concern against the anxiety of the Americans surrounding the Tanking markets.
“I think people have seen their fiery retirement savings. And he’s there on the golf course,” said Democratic Schiff on Sunday on “Meet the Press” of NBC. “It can end up being the most sustainable image of the Trump presidency, that is to say the president in a golf cart while people’s retirement is in flames.”
Trump encouraged the Americans on Saturday to “hang hard” in an article on his Truth social platform. “This is an economic revolution, and we will win,” he said.
The same day, the White House told journalists covering the president that Trump had won his confrontation in the second round for the senior championship of his Jupiter club and was to play on Sunday in the championship. Trump posted a video of him fending on Truth Social on Sunday, although he was not clear when the video was shot.
During Saturday demonstrations, democratic legislators reduced against Trump policies and his stay on the golf course.
“Take out your ass from the golf course and face people!” California representative Eric Swalwell said to Trump In front of a Protestant crowd against the National Mall in Washington.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett from Texas Posted on Bluesky: “Trump is here swinging golf clubs while people are in the streets that retaliate.”
Senator Elizabeth Warren called on the Republicans to help Democrats overthrow Trump’s prices and stop what she called “the most stupid business war in history”.
“While Donald Trump is relaxed on the golf course, workers are concerned about the rise in prices and an economic accident”, she Posted on X.
The minority head of the Hakeem Jeffries room also challenged Trump’s weekend.
“You know, Donald Trump, the biggest lie that this guy has ever said was that he cared about you, of the American people. He does not do so. He cares about him and his billionaire donors like Elon Musk,” said Jeffries on “The Weekend” on MSNBC. “And as if we did not need additional evidence, but at the same time as retirement savings are blocking, the stock market is blocking, the economy is blocking, Donald Trump is on the golf course? Is what he chooses to do?”
Trump went up on Air Force One in Palm Beach, Florida, en route to Washington on Sunday without speaking to journalists.
