The Doj pushes the FBI to revise, release more Epstein files in the middle of the mounting pressure of Trump supporters: Sources

The Ministry of Justice is in the midst of an urgent and chaotic effort to examine the sensitive documents of the FBI investigation into the condemned sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, with the Attorney General Pam Bondi pushing the FBI and his own department to publish more files in the case in the midst of the continuous pressure of the supporters of President Donald Trump, told ABC News.
Up to a thousand FBI agents, many of whom are generally focusing on national security issues, have been enlisted to help in effort, sources said.
The push occurs two weeks after Bondi distributed filing binders with Epstein case files to pro -Trump social media influencers in the White House – files that ultimately contained little information. The move attracted the managers of the White House off guard and scandalized certain supporters of the president, who had been promised that more details would be made public. The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt replied that “everyone works together as a unified team in the direction of President Trump”.
In private exchanges tense soon this week, Bondi pressed the director of the FBI Kash Patel to do more to disclose further information from the case involving one of the most infamous sex traffic criminals in modern history, sources said.
Officials of the Ministry of Justice clearly told the others during the Trump administration that it was now an absolute priority of the Attorney General to sort the documents related to Epstein and to decide what can be publicly disclosed in the coming days, said sources, and FBI agents were invited to expect to work there in the early morning.
Sources indicate to ABC News that the National Security Division of the Ministry of Justice devotes many of their resources to effort, despite some main people responsible for the application of laws believing that the information that Bondi is demanding is examined does not contain any new revelation.
The effort of hand on the deck to accelerate the release of additional equipment led to a growing ditch between FBI and DOJ officials, said sources, as the two were faced with the online reaction of Maga vocal treatment on the Trump Administration of the files.

In a statement, a DoJ spokesman told ABC News: “Under the direction of the Attorney General Bondi, the Ministry of Justice works tirelessly to offer unprecedented transparency for the American people.”
The White House referred to ABC News to the Doj’s response.
“The Patel Director is attached to total transparency and justice, providing documents to the DoJ quickly,” FBI spokesperson Ben Williamson told ABC News in a statement. “He has total confidence in the leadership and dedication of the Attorney General Pam is leaping to hold the powerful responsible.”
Among the equipment considered for the publication, there is previously unknown video evidence of the survey on sex trafficking on Epstein, said sources, adding that the DoJ has not yet made a final decision on this subject.
Authorities can also examine detailed documents in a document published earlier this month that the Ministry of Justice calls “the list of evidence”, a catalog of three-page materials apparently obtained through research on the properties of Epstein in New York, Florida and the US Virgin Islands.
According to the document, among the elements that the investigators obtained the document, a CD labeled “Girl Pics Nude Book 4” and a file entitled “LSJ Logbook”, which seems to be a reference to the private island of Epstein Little St. James.
The document also lists dozens of recording devices, computers, hard drives and memory sticks, as well as various sexual accessories.
Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while faced federal charges on children’s sexual traffic. The well -connected financier, which had a private island in the American virgin islands, has long been subjected to a “list of customers” of celebrities and politicians, which right -wing influencers have accused the baseless authorities to hide. Several sources familiar with civil and criminal affairs against Epstein say that no list of this type has been discovered.
In an interview last week, Bondi was asked about the growing pressure of Trump’s base to publish more files and confirmed that the ministry worked to make them public.
“The Maga group is crazy not to know more about Epstein files … will you give us more information?” Maria Bartiromo de Fox News asked the Attorney General.
Bondi replied that the director of the FBI, Kash Patel, worked to provide the DoJ with a calendar for the next version of the document.
“We will come out as much as possible, as quickly as possible to the American people,” she said.
ABC News previously reported that Bondi had faced reactions to the White House and Trump allies on his management of the initial press release from the Epstein file earlier this month.
During a White House event with pro-Trump influencers on social networks, Bondi distributed tagged binders “Epstein files: Phase 1”, catch senior managers of the White House to the deprocheted. Materials mainly contained public archives previously, arousing the indignation of some of Trump’s supporters, notably the far -right activist Laura Loomer, who criticized the liberation as a “non -professional” and unworthy of confidence.
