The FBI investigates the identity attempts of the Chief of the White House Susie Wiles

The FBI is investigating some mysterious texts and calls from someone who tries the governors, the members of the Congress and other people who claimed to be the Chief of the White House, Susie Wiles, families familiar with the case, said.

Calls and SMS seem to use the voice of Wiles but are supposed to come from an impostor who will ask for money, the sources said.

Wiles is considered one of President Donald Trump’s closest advisers and managed his presidential campaign in 2024, and has access to many senior officials in republican circles. We do not know who and how many people have received messages from the impostor.

“The White House takes the cybersecurity of all the staff very seriously, and this case continues to be the subject of an investigation,” said a White House official when he was asked about the issue.

The story was reported for the first time by the Wall Street Journal.

“The FBI takes all the threats against the president, its staff and our cybersecurity with the greatest seriousness; protecting the ability of our officials from our administration to communicate safely to accomplish the president’s mission is an absolute priority,” said FBI director Kash Patel in ABC News in a statement.

Earlier this month, the Arms Chamber Sergeant sent an opinion to members and staff concerning phishing emails and the means to protect themselves from scams, according to several sources that have received the opinion.

The FBI and the White House did not indicate who could be behind the identity, and we do not know how the person was able to access the telephone contacts of Wiles.

The incident follows the Trump campaign, led by Wiles, being the target of a phishing campaign by Iran last summer, during the 2024 electoral season, and the Iranians were able to access the internal campaign equipment.
