The LSU female track athlete dies in a car accident

Wednesday evening, two people, including a vaulter for women of the Louisiana State University, died in a car accident on the Red Baton campus of the school on Wednesday evening, according to college officials.

Around 9:07 p.m. Wednesday, the driver of a Honda Accord was moving south on Nicholas Drive and tried to make a left turn on South Quad Drive, the Red Boton Police Service announced on Thursday in a statement.

The driver of the car and the motorcyclist, Bohdi Linton, 23, were both died at the scene of the accident, the police said.

Dillon Reudenauer, 18, was identified as the driver of the car, said LSU athletics statement THURSDAY.
