The Pentagon changed CAP for the visit of musk after a report on see him the war plans in China: the managers

Friday, the technological billionaire Elon Musk was to visit the Pentagon and attend a meeting of the joint staff chiefs who would approach China, among others, two American officials confirmed to ABC News – but this plan changed after the Musk of the New York Times was informed of the potential war plans in China.
Musk visited the Pentagon on Friday – but instead of meeting joint chiefs, Musk met the defense secretary Pete Hegseth and staff, said an American official.
The meeting between Musk and the joint chiefs had to be at the level not classified and assisted practically by the ADM. Sam Paparo, the commander of the American Indo-Pacific Command, said an official. But a certain time between the publication of History of the New York Times Thursday and Musk’s visit to the Pentagon Friday morning, the visit turned into a meeting with Hegseth.

The New York Times reported that Musk would receive a briefing of senior military leaders on a top secret military level for the potential war with China. The publication said that the meeting had been canceled due to its initial report.
Musk, Hegseth and President Donald Trump denied the report – Trump saying that Musk would not be informed of a war plan with China.
“I do not want to show this to anyone. But certainly, you would not show him to a businessman who helps us as much. He is a great patriot … But I certainly do not want – you know, Elon has companies in China, and he may be sensitive to that.

Hegseth said Musk was at Pentagon to talk about the Musk government’s efficiency department.
“There were no war plans. There were no Chinese war plans. There were no secret plans. This is not what we were doing in the Pentagon,” said Hegseth.

Musk arrived at the Pentagon just before 9 a.m. and stayed at the HegSeth office for the duration of his visit.
The meeting of joint staff chiefs took place as planned, but Paparo did not join the meeting as previously planned. One of the officials said that the meeting of the chiefs of staff joined in the conference room known as the “The Tank” lasted about two hours.
Musk left the Pentagon at 10:21 am – About 20 minutes after it appeared that the meeting in the tank has actually started.
Friday, when Musk had left Hegseth’s office, the journalists asked him how the meeting went and replied that “it’s always an excellent meeting”.
“I have already come here, you know,” added Musk while he and Hegseth were walking together. Musk visited the Pentagon in 2016 to meet the defense secretary then Ash Carter.

When they were outside the Pentagon, Hegseth and Musk shake hands and Musk was above the head to say: “If there is something I can do to be useful, I would like to see you.”
None of the two answered the questions at that time to find out if they had discussed China or if it was a classified briefing.
Hegseth previously published on X that Reunion did not concern the “War Plans in China”, but rather described it as an “informal meeting on innovation, efficiency & Smarter production. “”

Trump posted on his social media conservative platform that China would not be mentioned or discussed at the meeting.
Musk went so far as to suggest that there should be prosecution against anyone at the Pentagon who may have disclosed information.
“They will be found,” wrote Musk on X.
