A sailboat from the Mexican navy crashed on the Brooklyn bridge on Saturday evening, according to the New York police service and the Mexican navy.
The accident occurred at 8:30 p.m., causing several reported injuries, according to NYPD.

We do not know how many people were on board at the time of the accident, but the NYPD Harbor unit and diving are on the scene.

The Cuauhtémoc sailboat made a “sailing maneuver” when it collided with the bridge, said the Mexican navy in a post on X.
