Trump live updates from the 2nd quarter: Trump praises the work of the 1st month, rents Musk and Doge
President Donald Trump addressed the meeting of the association of republican governors in Washington, DC, praising the work that his administration carried out during his first month in power.
In front of the friendly crowd, Trump suggested that his frantic pace could so far to succeed in his group mid-term.
“I think we are going to do in a fantastic way. I think the mid-term will be … a big surprise,” said Trump, adding: “I think so far, we are very popular.”

He praised the work of Elon Musk and the Ministry of Effectiveness of the Government, saying that they “could find up to 1.5 billion of dollars of waste, abuse” in their efforts to reduce federal expenses .
“He attracts very young with high IQs … They are extraordinary with computers,” said Trump. “He said, they make love to their computer. I said, I don’t want to hear about that.”
Without providing details, he has shook a list of examples of American aid which he said was eliminated.
