United States, Russia is expected to publish a joint declaration on the last cease-fire talks in Ukraine

London – The United States and Russia are expected to publish a joint declaration on Tuesday detailing the results of the last bilateral meeting in Saudi Arabia discussing a potential path to peace in Ukraine, Russian state media reported.
Held talks on Monday in Riyadh lasted 12 hours, a source told the Russian state media agency in Tass. A source told the Ria Novosti State Media Agency that a joint declaration on negotiations would be published on Tuesday.
Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Committee of the Council of the Federation on International Affairs, who participated in talks in Riyadh, told Tass that “the dialogue was detailed and complex but very useful for us and for the Americans”. Karasin added: “We discussed many problems”.
The talks had to include discussions on a potential ceasefire in the Black Sea, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Monday. The proposal said Peskov, came from President Donald Trump and was accepted by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

A break proposed in long -range attacks against energy and other critical infrastructure objectives should also be part of the discussions. Although Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy both accepted the proposal in principle last week, cross -border strikes continued.
American and Ukrainian representatives had talks after the American meeting with the Russian team concluded, a source familiar with the discussions told ABC News.
On Monday, responding to another series of Russian missiles and drone attacks against Ukrainian cities, Zelenskyy wrote on social networks that “war was brought from Russia and it is to Russia that war must be pushed back. They must themselves be forced to peace.
