What is the next step for American and Ukrainian relations?

Only a few hours after his visit to the White House, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy went to England and met British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Downing Street on Saturday, officials at ABC News told ABC News. In a joint address, Starmer said that Ukraine had unwavering support in the United Kingdom
On Friday, Zelenskyy’s meeting at the Oval Office turned into a cries match when President Donald Trump and Vice-President JD Vance reprimanded Zelenskyy for his war management, wrongly blaming him for a conflict that started when the Vladimir Putin of Russia launched a full-scale invasion.
Zelenskyy left the White House without signing an in progress mineral agreement.
The Trump administration now plans to cut military aid expeditions to Ukraine, according to a senior American official. No final decision has been made, but it is not the first time that the administration has envisaged such a decision, the official said.

If the administration extinguishes military aid, it is not clear to what point the effects will be extended. In the past few months of the Biden administration, officials rushed to get as many military stocks as they could get out of Ukraine or storage sites in NATO countries in Eastern Europe. Part of the military equipment authorized for Kyiv is still in the United States, however, said officials.
Former President Joe Biden left $ 3.85 billion in funds available under the presidential withdrawal and said that it would be up to the Trump administration to decide what to do with this funding.
We do not know how much aid remains in the pipeline for Ukraine and how much it is worth.
European leaders hold a summit on Sunday to discuss how the continent can provide security guarantees if Russia and Ukraine conclude a cease-fire agreement. Zelenskyy will participate in the summit, according to his spokesperson Serhiy Nykyforov.

Zelenskyy will meet King Charles III on Sunday in addition to participating in the summit of European leaders, a spokesman for ABC News confirmed.
Friday, in an interview with Laura Ingram, the press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, said that President Trump “ate in the figurative and literally Zelensky for lunch today” in the White House after their fiery exchange in the oval office.
“It was incredibly tense in this room, and things became bad and bitter very quickly, because, unfortunately, President Zelensky refuses to recognize the pragmatic reality of the war with which his country is confronted,” said Leavitt. “This war has been going on for years. His compatriots are dying, and above all, President Zelenskyy has not recognized that he is entering the oval office with a new sheriff in the city, and that the sheriff is Donald Trump.”
Leavitt said he was “absolutely” not true that the explosion of the oval office was premeditated by the Trump administration, and rather put the blame on Zelenskyy, who, according to her, provoked vice-president JD Vance.

“President Trump was enthusiastic about this economic agreement, and it was President Zelenskyy, if you launch the band, who actually annoyed the vice-president in front of the cameras and chose a fight with him,” said Leavitt.
Leavitt said it was to see what is the next step for the mineral agreement between the United States and Ukraine.
“”[Trump] Feels that this President Zelenskyy is not in the good state of mind to negotiate peace, “said Leavitt.
