Woman accused of locking boyfriends in the storage unit for days wanted for attempted murder

A woman from North Carolina is wanted to attempted murder after having pretended to locate her boyfriend in a storage unit, where he was stuck for several days without food or water before being rescued, police said.

Robin Deaton, 52, of Matthews, in North Carolina, is wanted for attempted murder and accusation of accusations, said the police department of Monroe. She remains as a whole, a spokesman for the department confirmed on Wednesday at ABC News.

Her 51 -year -old boy had been locked in the unit on Thursday, police announced. Deaton would have convinced him to crawl at the back of the unit to do something to him, then closed it and said: “This is what you get,” said police.

He had no food, water or energy source, and there were two locks on the storage unit, the police said.

The man called 911 on Monday and told the distributor that his girlfriend had locked him in his storage unit in Cooper Storage in Monroe.

“I have been locked up in a storage unit for about a week now, and I just found my phone,” he said during the 911 call, published by Union County Emergency Services. “My girlfriend locked me here. She doubled my lock, and I don’t know how she put me in it but she put me here.”

He said he was in unit 43 and that his phone was about to die. When asked if he needed emergency services, he said, “I just need to get out of here.”

“I can’t breathe. I have nothing to drink or anything,” he said.

The agents responded to the establishment around 1:15 p.m. Monday, according to the incident report.

The man was taken to a regional hospital but has since been released, Charlotte, Caroline du Nord, affiliated ABC WSOC reported.

The report on incidents listed the crime as a false imprisonment, although detectives asked for higher charges for the Deaton arrest warrant on the investigation, said police spokesman.
