Fred Guttenberg, whose 14 -year -old daughter, Jaime, was killed during the Parkland High School shooting in southern Florida in 2018, said some of Jaime’s classmates now frequented FSU.

“Incredibly, some of them were only part of their second school shoot and some were in the student union today,” wrote Guttenberg, who became a supporter of the reform of firearms, on social networks. “As a father, everything I always wanted after the park shooting was to help our children be safe. Unfortunately, because of the many people who refuse to do good things to reduce armed violence, I am not surprised by what happened today.”
