Talks led by the American delegation between Russia and Ukraine in progress in Türkiye

London – The meeting between the American delegation led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Ukraine and Russia is expected to take place in Türkiye on Friday after a day of confusion on Thursday.
In particular absent from talks, however, the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is in Albania, and the Russian president Putin, who is in Moscow, as delegates from the United States, Ukraine and Turkey.
President Trump declared this Friday morning in Abu Dhabi that he wanted to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin “as soon as we can install him” to negotiate the end of the war in Ukraine
“We’re going to do it,” said Trump. “I actually think it’s time for us to do it,” he said.
Trump suggested that “in two or three weeks”, the world could be “a much safer place”.

“I’m going to tell you that the world is a much safer place right now, and I think that in two or three weeks, we might be a much safer place,” said Trump. “We are going to manage a few situations that you have here with very serious situations. And we look at Gaza, and we have to take care of it. Many people are hungry. Many people. There are a lot of bad things.”
A Ukrainian diplomatic source in Istanbul told ABC News that “we appreciate the real effort of President Trump to end the war and stop the murder. Ukraine itself is the country that wants peace more than anyone. ”
“We are going to do it,” said Trump about Ukrainian negotiations. “Five thousand young people are killed every week on average, and we will do it.”
