The Wyoming representative, Harriet Hageman, has token at the Town Hall about Doge: “Where is this fraud?”

The republican representative of Wyoming, Harriet Hageman, got tangled with an ardent fiery audience in her country of origin Thursday evening when she went back and forth with the voters of Elon Musk and the federal expenses.

At one point, Hageman argued with a woman who said that she was a retired and republican military officer, who toasted the deputy for the evidence of alleged fraud that musks and republicans claim that they discovered.

Doge’s actions have been criticized, not only for recommending that thousands of federal workers be dismissed, including many veterans, but also allegations, supported by President Donald Trump and the White House concerning what they say is massive fraud in public spending. “I did not say to spend, I said real fraud,” cried the woman in Hageman.

“That’s what it is,” said Hageman. “These are the expenses associated with fraud. It is fraud. Expenditure is fraud.”

“No, no, no,” cried the woman. “Rendezvous after specific companies or specific staff who commit fraud.”

“This is fraud. These are fraudulent expenses,” said Hageman.

“No, it can be abusive expenses, but it is not fraud,” replied the woman.

“What I said were waste, fraud and abuse. Waste, fraud and abuse,” said Hageman, before trying to give figures on USAID expenses.

The same constituent then pressed Hageman for layoffs and whether or not they make the government more effective: “It is not because you dismiss that someone is effective because work is still there. This must still be done,” she said.

“We will also eliminate some of these jobs,” said Hageman. “These works will be eliminated. They don’t need to be done.”

At another moment of the town hall, another woman pressed Hageman with regard to musk to make cuts at federal expenses.

“You have just described the cuts to the government at the moment as a kind of meticulous audit, but the cuts that Doge made have been embarrassing by someone who has never served in the government, has never led a non -profit organization, which has computers and 19 -year -old agencies.

DOGE claims to have saved $ 115 billion, but this total amount is not conveyed because there are only receipts for part of the savings claimed.

“As I said a moment ago, it is an audit. It is the closest thing that we will never reach zero budgeting in the federal government,” said Hageman.
