Tornado Outbreak Live Updates: at least 18 dead while serious storms struck the South, Midwest

Millions of Americans across the country are on alert for bad weather with tornado watches in force for eight states: Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio.

A new surveillance of a particularly dangerous Tornado of situation was published on Saturday in a large part of the Mississippi, as well as parts of eastern Louisiana until 6 p.m. CT this evening. This includes cities like Jackson, Tupelo, Meridian, Mississippi; And red baton, Louisiana.

Another tornado watch remains in force for the portions of southern Arkansas and northern Louisiana until 1 p.m. CT this afternoon. A line of serious storms sweeps east through the region, leading to the threat of strong tornadoes, damaging the gusts of wind and a large hail.

Any stronger and slow storm bringing torrential rains could also trigger sudden dangerous flood zones in the coming hours.
