Trump’s lawyer may have known more about Eric Adams’ criminal affair

A document not sealed on Tuesday of the criminal case against the mayor of New York, Eric Adams, could raise questions on the testimony of the Sub-Corner General Todd Blanche during his confirmation hearing of the Senate.
During the hearing, Blanche was asked about the decision of the Ministry of Justice to abolish corruption accusations against Adams.

“What I just saw with the dismissal of the Adams accusation, which was led by DC, isn’t it?” Asked the Democratic senator Peter Welch.
“I have the same information as you,” replied Blanche. “I don’t know beyond what I have [seen] publicly reported. “”
However, a new letter from the newly unchanged project of the American prosecutor at the time, Danielle Sassoon, suggests that Blanche could have known more than he left.

Sassoon, who was fighting the directive to abandon the mayor’s case, wrote that she had expressed concern about the senior MJ, Emil Bove, that a serious decision concerning a large -scale case should wait for Blanche to be confirmed. In response, Sassoon wrote that “Bove informed me that Todd Blanche was on the” same wavelength. “”
Sassoon would resign later rather than obey the order of Bove to remove the case of the mayor.
His project as a letter to the Attorney General Pam Bondi was part of a slice of ordered materials not sealed by judge Dale Ho, who still plans to reject the case against Adams.
The Ministry of Justice insisted that Blanche did not play any role in determining a dismissal.
“Todd Blanche was not involved in the decision-making of the ministry before confirmation,” a spokesperson said in a statement provided to ABC News.
The mayor’s lawyer said that the unleavened letter was additional proof that the case should be launched.
“As I said from the start, this false case that needed” gymnastics “to find a crime – was based on the” political reason “and” ambition “, not the facts or the law. The more we learn what was really behind the scenes, the more the mayor, Alex Spiro, said in a statement.
